The mission of Crisis Line & Safe House is to provide community crisis intervention, safe shelter, comprehensive support and recovery services for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, and to educate the community about the cycle of violence and its prevention.

About the Role:
Join Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia, Inc. as a PRN Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and make a difference in the lives of survivors. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate and expert care to individuals affected by sexual assault while working alongside a dedicated team in a supportive environment.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive forensic examinations for survivors of sexual assault.
  • Collect and document evidence in accordance with legal protocols.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and legal personnel as needed.
  • Educate patients on follow-up care and available resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Advocate for patient rights and ensure a trauma-informed approach.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) preferred, however, training options available.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Live within 30-45 minutes from Macon & Warner Robins.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care practices.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient advocacy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
